How to Affirm Properly
The best way to start your affirmations is with a series of statements regarding “I” – because remember, this is about you. Use these statements to remind yourself of all the positivity in your life.

- I love my….
- I am happy about…
DO NOT use this as a means of expressing gluttony or insatiable desire. Rather, use this as a way of creating manageable goals that you seek.
It also imperative that you write these affirmations in the now. Do not invite the opportunity to procrastinate from your goals by using longer time frames, such as “in a year from now’ or “in a few months”. Rather, say “I am (-ing verb)”.
Be Honest and Truthful
The last thing you need to remember is that you need to be honest and truthful with yourself. The entire purpose of affirming your convictions is to keep them in your life.
Lying to yourself will never work in the long run. If you really do seek to improve your daily life, and maintain an appreciation of the thing you have, then truthfulness is key.
